Vino & Art Collide in the Heart of Virginia's Wine & Hunt Country
During COVID-19, social distancing has become the new norm. With new and ever-changing mandates, social distancing has made gatherings a bit more challenging than it used to be, but that does not mean your social calendar has to entirely be put on hold. We have created a curated event series that offers an exclusive opportunity to personally experience the DNA of Goodstone. These highly interactive events pair avant-farm dining with eco-luxury in a socially distant setting to ensure everyone stays protected and healthy.
Our “Meet the Artist” event was a great success. We will now be rotating this event into our series regularly. We want to continue to show love and support to our local artists, give them a platform to share their talent and work, and invite our community to enjoy a fine dining experience that captures the DNA of Goodstone. This past event, we had a painting demonstration by local artist, Laura Hopkins. Laura is known for her expressive, atmospheric landscapes in oil. Her work captures the enduring beauty of hill, field, stream and marsh, and the reflection of expansive skies in water. A three-course tasting menu was created by our Executive Chef, Jan Van Haute along with wine pairings by our Wine Director and Sommelier, Stephan Elfhadi. Searching for that perfect piece of art to display in your home? Look no further, Laura's work is on display and for sale at Goodstone. Stop by for a glass of wine, explore the gallery, and find that perfect piece to add to your collection.
Savor Middleburg, and join us for our Socially Distant March Events, Farm and Vine IV and our Rosé Garden Brunch! "A recipe for a GOOD week!"
Our Farm & Vine Dinners contribute to the sustainability of our agricultural community through a unique culinary experience featuring Goodstone's homegrown products, local farms, and premiere vineyards. Our Executive Chef implements his knowledge and passion for creative fine-dining to showcase the tastes of Hunt Country. Our Wine Director draws upon years of reputable experience to pair labels creating a memorable and elevated experience which complements both the vintner and the farmer.
Guests are invited to enjoy an educational tour of our farm and greenhouse by Goodstone's own, Ross Arney. During the tour, guests may “pick their own lunch” from the fresh vegetables and eggs grown here on the farm. Our Executive Chef, Jan Van Haute, then crafts a gourmet brunch menu paired with award winning Rosé. Experience a rare opportunity to fully taste the terroir of Middleburg and the Provence of France.
